ebere is an igbo-american, chicago based designer, maker and researcher. she graduated with an industrial design degree from iowa state university in dec. 2O19 with her thesis - rescue point - infusing a circular design economy with her culture. currently her local practice in chicago extends into community building, care advocacy, and vacant space activation.

she is now working with Norman Teague Design Studios and Ọkpara House© - both as a designer, maker and project manager. since october, ebere has been serving as a designer in residence with the artist-led, chicago-based non-profit organization alt_(alt space). she is also a part of the place keeping initiative - in ℅: Black women(in care of Black women) as a contributor, fabricator, and designer.

additionally she is a design freelancer and occasionally completes creative pro bono work for non-profit organizations. her conceptual work explores archived artifacts and images, preserving them into contemporary iterations with object design and abstract processing video.

this digital site will be a space for ebere to curate her work, document projects with others, offer freelancing services, and archive researched explorations.
